Why do people say that My Chemical Romance saved their lives?

It's the lyrics which speak out. I'am a MCR fan myself, and they may seem all Emo and suicidal but really people get that impression because of Song titles or clothes they wear or something, but really they're not emo, in their lyrics they express emotion, it's what they've been through depression, suicidal thoughts... etc, they express it into music. like the Black parade album that was supposed to give you hope when you feel depressed and everyone hates you and you want to do suicide or whatever. But MCR is totally anti-suicidal. but it's not just MCR that can save lives, and band or singer can. Really music can save lives
