Is Barack Obama actually a step backward for African-Americans?

It is a concern, but given the 15-43 score on the whites then I think we need to even it out. Obama is not the panacea to black people. He is someone I deem worthy of getting a chance. Bush already messed up a whole lot. It is going to be hard for anyone to come in and clean up after that disaster.
