Things to help with back pain?

ok so, i am a 17 y/o female and have pretty bad lower back pain. some days it hurts way worse than others, on some bad days it hurts to walk, to breath, to turn, to do anything really. ive tried doing things to get it stonger and have worked with my abs to but its not getting better. it hurts every morning when i get up. ive tried on the floor on the bed, with pillow, without pillow. softer/harder bed. nothing seems to be doing me much good. i have wieght training for school and somedays it is really painfull depending on what we do. i take ibuprophin on a pretty regular basis to. Ive tried heat and ice. Are there any other things that i can try? I plan on telling the doctor about it when i go for a shot soon but this has been going on for almost a year now.
