For Christians who believe in the End Times: Would the Antichrist really use 666?

I mean, after millenia of religious people searching for the Antichrist and saying "he is 666 z0mg" and the ensuing taboo and recent media hype over the number, it seems like it would be sensible to use a different number. My thinking would be, "if I told everyone my number was 666 then even anti-theists and mockers of religion would dislike me." I would think that if the guy is smart enough to unite the world under a single government and economy, then he would be smart enough to cover up any indications that he is the devil incarnate. After all this time, would he really use 666? Would he still require everyone to get a chip after all the hysteria about it? If he doesn't, then how are you going to know who he is?
