Deployment and Parenting Plan?
You have to have a Family Care Plan in order to deploy. He should be able to this with the legal section on base. He shouldn't have to wait three months with a civilian court. Yes, they can kick you out of the military if you don't have a Family Care Plan. But normally they would just delay your deployment date by a few weeks or a month until you get your legal #$*& sorted out. You shouldn't have to get married, either. You can leave your child with the next door neighbor if all parties agree to it, and I've seen that happen, but most obviously leave their child with a family member.
