Accident in my car what do i do now?

i was driving down the road the other day and this tramp walked straight into the path of my car when the ambulance and police came they said it was to late and he was dead, now the police want to prosecute me for dangerous driving ! ok so i was going 60 mph in a 30 mph zone and he was using a zebra crossing when he jumped out at me , but i don't feel it was my fault . i feel i have suffered enough as he scratch my bumper when he hit my car and it cost me 25 pounds to get it repaired , I'm innocent and feel sure the police have got it in for me ! please help
